Maybe this is a very good day to start. the last few weeks have been frenetic and it is good to slow down and reflect if only for a day.
The reason for the amount of work that has been necessary during recent weeks is because we are merging with another law firm. This is good and exciting and it will hopefully give five years of further growth to complete a fulfilling career in the law.
The relationships are the most demanding aspect of any business venture, however, and they will need to be nurtured.
During today I have been thinking how fortunate I have been in my life; wife, brother-in-law, kids, nephews and neices, work, friends and fun. When I compare it with the lives of my parents, as I see them through my adult eyes, I have much to thank God for. I have been really blessed and am grateful.
